Step 1 Initial consultation
In the first stage, we will discuss with you all matters related to your health condition, whether you have had any surgeries in the past, current medication, etc. Of course, everything is completely confidential, but we need to be sure that we have all the information from you that is relevant for the transplant itself.
Your current condition will be photographed and sent to our team at our partner clinic in Istanbul, where the doctor will assess the extent of the procedure and recommend the appropriate course of action. Based on this, we will send you an offer that will include a package of services that will cover everything from A-Z.
Step 2 Contract
If you agree to the proposal, the package of services, a full-fledged contract will be drawn up on the basis of this, which will include everything we agree on together. After the contract is signed, a deposit is paid, which is used to arrange a binding date for the transplant, ordering transport, flights and hotel on the pre-agreed date.
Step 3 Departure to Istanbul
At this moment you have been in communication with our implementation team for some time, who will arrange the exact time of the meeting at Václav Havel - Ruzyně Airport, where we will be waiting for you in advance. We fly to Istanbul on a weekly basis and always only with Turkish Airlines, who have the best service, which we pride ourselves on. A 3-course menu awaits you on board the plane, plus free drinks.
Upon arrival, which takes approximately 2-2.5 hours, our delegate will arrange all transportation from the airport to your chosen hotel, as well as manage the entire timeframe of all activities related to the transplant, departures to the clinic, etc. Once you have checked in, you can use the spa, gym, hotel restaurant or bar.
Step 4 Examination at the clinic
And D-Day is here. On the morning before the procedure, after you have had breakfast, you will be met by a delegate with transport to the clinic for a full pre-operative hair and skin examination. We will make sure that you have not consumed excessive amounts of alcohol, tobacco products etc the day before.
Blood will be taken, which among other things is also used for the aforementioned PRP therapy that will be administered to you after the procedure. The doctor, assisted by a delegate, will discuss your idea with you, and you will agree on exactly where your new hairline will lead. If you're not fluent in the language, don't worry, our delegate will assist you throughout and communicate everything to your liking.
Step 5 Transplantation
After all the examinations, you will move to the operating room where you will meet the team that will perform your transplant. The anaesthetist will then come in and administer a local anaesthetic. Once the anaesthesia is fully working, the team will start removing grafts from the so-called donor sites, which are pre-determined to be removed, the second stage is to create the channels to insert the new grafts and the third stage is the actual insertion of the grafts.
You will spend a total of 6-7 hours in the operating room depending on the extent of the procedure. After the surgery, the wound is washed and treated and our delegate/manager will take you to your hotel.
Step 6 Pre-departure check
The next day you have to recover from the operation and bed rest is recommended, after all it is a surgical intervention and you need to give your body rest. The hotel is all set up to deliver food directly to your room. We pride ourselves on making sure that the client has every comfort, so if anything is needed, our delegates are always at your disposal.
On the day of your departure, you will be transferred back to the clinic where a post-operative check-up will take place, the dressings will be removed and the wound will be gently washed. We will explain everything about the follow-up washing in the following weeks, when the wound will retract. You will be given all the information regarding the cosmetic package included in the price. You can function normally for the first 14 days while the transplant wound heals, but it is important not to expose yourself to direct sunlight or excessive exertion.
Step 7 Departure to Prague
From the clinic, our driver and delegate will take you to the airport where you will check in, buy some souvenirs for the family and then head back home. From the airport, if you have a car parked in our car park, we will take you directly to your destination and there we will say goodbye together.
Step 8 Control in the Czech Republic
A few weeks after the procedure, a check-up by our specialist will take place to determine if everything is fine and everything is going as it should. Check-ups will take place regularly throughout the process, where we will work together to set up a process that will achieve the best outcome.
